Horner Cleared of allegations.

After weeks of uncertainty and amid a barrage of criticism, mainly from the Dutch press, Red Bull today has officially cleared their Team Principal, Christian Horner of the recent allegations. As a result he will continue in his role in a year where they are likely to dominate once again.


The 50-year-old was placed under investigation by the F1 team's Austrian parent company Red Bull GmbH after allegations were made against him by a female colleague, allegations he has consistently denied throughout.


Red Bull GmbH released a statement confirming the the investigation had been concluded today (Wednesday), less than 24 hours before the the season-opening Bahrain GP.


The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed.

The independent investigation included lengthy interviews with the individuals at the centre of the case over the last few weeks. Speculation about the nature of the allegations against him have filled the media and social platforms alike, whilst Red Bull chose not offer any further details. In the statement It said, that it was fully confident the investigation had been conducted in a “fair, rigorous and impartial” manner and added


The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned.

The Bahrian GP starts this Friday with he race on Saturday.
