Coming from a small Yorkshire town, Rallying has been in his blood from an early age, though he didn't have the benefit of wealth growing up. At the age of just 3, his parents had split and he grew up with his mum. It wasn't all bad though as at about the same time he got his first introduction to the world of Rallying. On a cold winter morning, standing on the pit wall of Croft Circuit for that years Christmas Stages Rally, he was filled with a belly full of anticipation whilst waiting for the first cars to come through.

And it was at this point too that he got his first taste of Group B rallying and a car that would make an indelible mark on his soul. The bright blue Metro 6R4 of Chris Wise screamed past, instantly solidifying his absolute love for the sport, absolutely.

School didn't come easy for Callum, but he did have his love love for Rallying burning away in his soul. He would spend hours playing Colin McRae Rally 2, albeit driving the car off a cliff repeatedly until it broke. By the time he left school it was time to make his dream a reality, gaining his licence at the earliest opportunity. By this time he had come a far cry from his early days, regularly setting fastest stage times on the global timesheet of Dirt Rally 2.0.

He had formed a plan in his head now, and now it was time to put it into action.
